A First Look at Duende User Management

Overview:
The release of .NET 10 marked a significant step forward for modern identity — the path toward a passwordless future. But teams tethered to ASP.NET Identity are now asking: What do we do with manual passwordless setup? Database migration risks? Production uptime? Multi-tenancy gaps? Time lost to custom coding?
Duende has the answer for you. We're building a replacement to tame all the complexity: a reimagined user store designed for modern identity. Join the livestream to preview the future of user management at Duende — a first-party .NET SDK native to IdentityServer that provides a crafted, integrated foundation for user storage — allowing you to adopt Passkeys, MFA, and audit trails out of the box while maintaining control of your data.
We'll also share some exciting developments. Duende IdentityServer remains the gold standard for fully customizable identity, but we've heard you ask for more. We're expanding — bringing platform-level features, opinionated defaults, and expert-led guidance to teams who want the power to build with Duende IdentityServer but with faster time to value and fewer resource investments.
What you'll learn:
Beyond the Basics of ASP.NET Identity: The consistent feedback on ASP.NET Identity is about its limitations. We'll walk through user examples and why we've pivoted to building a better alternative.
Duende User Management Preview: A first look at a user store designed for modern identity with passkeys, MFA, one-time passwords, and audit trails built in.
Broadening What's Possible: Duende is expanding its architectural foundation to offer API-first management plane, storage abstraction, and operational tooling while maintaining the full flexibility of Duende IdentityServer.
Product Insiders Community: A sneak peek into Duende's Product Insiders community and how you can join us to build the “last mile” before our June launch.
