Launch Event: Duende IdentityServer v7.4 - Securing Enterprise MCP and .NET 10 LTS

December 2, 2025

10 EST / 16:00 CET / 15:00 UTC

Overview:

Organizations today are rapidly integrating AI-driven clients and adopting protocols like the Model Context Protocol (MCP), demanding a standardized and dynamic security infrastructure. Duende IdentityServer's v7.4 meets this need by fully implementing RFC 8414 (OAuth Metadata), providing the stable, standards-based foundation required to secure these next-generation systems. Optimized for the new .NET 10 LTS release, the launch of v7.4 unlocks immediate performance gains and critical modern security features, including Passkey support in ASP.NET Core Identity.

What you'll learn:

We'll show how Duende IdentityServer v7.4 secures enterprises implementing MCP by fully adopting RFC 8414, which provides the stable, standardized foundation for MCP and enables agents to dynamically configure themselves. We'll also talk through how v7.4 optimizes for .NET 10 LTS and delivers immediate performance boosts and critical security features like Passkey support. Finally, we'll talk about Duende's new Discord community and Product Insiders program, where you talk directly to the builders of IdentityServer and empower your software development teams.
