Spring Launch Event: The Next Era of Duende Identity Infrastructure
June 2, 2026
10 EDT / 16:00 CEST / 14:00 UTC
Overview:
This isn't a point release. This is a new chapter.
On June 2, Duende ships the most significant release in the company's history: IdentityServer v8 — a .NET 10-exclusive major release, five modular add-ons, redesigned pricing and packaging, and a refreshed brand identity that reflects where we're headed.
Duende is deepening its investment in identity infrastructure: evolving IdentityServer from the gold standard in .NET authentication into a platform foundation, with modular add-ons and a new infrastructure layer that powers advanced capabilities. Everything shipping on June 2nd is built to make that real for the developers, teams, and over 2500 organizations who depend on us without disrupting the stability they already depend on.
Join the founders, CEO, and the developers and product leaders behind the launch for a live walkthrough of what's shipping, why it matters, and what it means for your identity roadmap.
What you'll learn:
IdentityServer v8: Built exclusively for .NET 10. Dropped multi-targeting for .NET 8 and .NET 9, delivering leaner packages, cleaner code paths, and full access to the latest runtime capabilities — including TimeProvider, HybridCache, and the Microsoft Testing Platform. Ready on day one for .NET 10 migration.
A New Infrastructure Foundation: Beyond ISv8, we're introducing an additive infrastructure layer, an SDK-first management plane and storage abstraction that powers User Management today and the next generation of Duende capabilities tomorrow. We'll show what it is, why it matters, and where it's headed.
Five Modular Add-Ons and A New Way to Grow: We'll walk through the launch of Duende's modular add-on system and the first five modules: Financial-Grade Security & Conformance, SAML, Key Management, User Management, and Multi-Issuer. We'll show how teams extend their existing identity infrastructure with enterprise capabilities exactly when their business demands them. No bundled tiers. No all-or-nothing pricing.
Everything Evolves Together: Redesigned tiers, transparent add-on pricing, and a refreshed brand identity that reflects the platform foundation we're building. We'll be candid about what's changing, what's staying the same for existing customers, and how we're thinking about the relationship between pricing and long-term customer value.
